Today is a pain in the neck kind of day…
Have you ever had a pain in the neck? I’m not talking about the slang quote meaning someone is being a pain in the neck, but an actual pain in the neck you can get sometimes? I have it all the time, I’m a stress carrier in my neck. I have pain today. I woke up with it, taken way too much ibuprofen to kill a cow, and I’m still trying to work out the kink!
So what do I do…well I’m going back to my yoga. There is nothing like the stretches of yoga, 30 minutes each morning and night, to really start putting yourself back into alignment. Just doing simple forward bends, child pose, back bends, and side-to-side poses will allow your spine and muscles to become loose and relaxed—hence allowing your neck muscles to stop tightening up.
It’s just good practice to allow yourself a few moments each morning and night to work out the bums from your day or night.
Wishing you better heath…as I’m on my way to working on this stretch that will work out the pain in my neck!
